Experience the archipelago and nature at its best and come to a hiking trail that can only be reached via kayak.
We paddle together in kayaks from Läckö Castle and out into our nearest archipelago – Ekens archipelago. After 45 minutes of paddling we reach the island Stora Eken where we go ashore. Here, new voyages of discovery await the guided hike on the island, which goes along the shoreline, the forest and out on the islands. With us we have a knowledgeable nature guide who tells us about animals and nature that are in the area and that we will see during the hike. The guide will bring fun equipment to be able to get even closer to nature, such as binoculars and magnifying glasses.
After the hike we will have worked up an appetite – time for lunch! You can either buy a packed lunch from the White Guide restaurant Hvita Hjorten or bring your own. When we are full and satisfied, we paddle back to Läckö Castle and you will see the castle from its finest side – the sea side. Take the opportunity to ask the guide to take a picture of you in front of the castle in your kayak, it will definitely be a memory for life.
